Dawn - March 2015

Dawn - former guest in bed#36

The story shared this month testifies greatly to the truth that absolutely no one is beyond God’s reach or help. Sometimes we tend to see the poor as mortally wounded, more a distraction than an opportunity for God to miraculously restore. Dawn has allowed us to share in her own words how God moved to free her at one of our evening classes that dealt with the issue of forgiveness.

“I remember the first time it happened to me. I had my diaper on and my uncle threw me on the bed and ripped it off of me and started doing dirty things to me. This was a continued thing. I did have an abortion at the age of 12 years old. I was told that all little girls has to get cleaned out. My step mother signed papers to have it done. I felt dirty, shamed, looked down on, abandoned. For years I thought it was my fault for murder. What a horrible thing to be done. After (the class), I had Mike to pray for me. And he did. I felt the power of the Holy Spirit come over me. I felt the weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I felt light, and free I don’t think about the abortion anymore. I have a new life through Jesus. Thank you Watered Gardens for all you have done. Its a nice place to stay when you’re hungry and have a warm room to sleep at night. The work shop helped me to put clothing on my back and supplied me with everything I needed. I just love everyone there. Through Watered Gardens and the ministry, I have a new life now. I know Jesus is real. Thank you all!”
