Austin - November 2025

Lately, I've been sharing this truth: Relief requires nothing of the recipient whereas opportunity requires someone willing to take advantage of it. In other words, relief feels good but requires no effort and rarely provides an off-ramp from poverty. Real opportunity, however, requires effort but can be the on-ramp to prosperity and a flourishing life. Austin had an opportunity, and he took full advantage of it, applying the effort that was needed to escape a life of drugs, imprisonment, and homelessness. It started from within prison when he applied to our Forge program. It was the beginning of a changed life for Austin.

“Being surrounded with people who truly had my back and wanted the best for me was the best part about being in the Forge program. And I’m thankful knowing that just because I graduated, it wasn't the end of the relationships and life with these people. They have become family. And when I wholly and completely committed to the Forge program, it showed me how to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness. It absolutely changed my life.”

Austin applied effort and took full advantage of the Forge program, and it changed his life. Your continuing support will keep the onramps to prosperity and flourishing open for all those who want to take advantage of the opportunities Watered Gardens provides for anyone ready to apply effort and escape a life of poverty. Thank you. I'm glad to be in partnership with you.
