Kiarra Turley - February 2023

God is saving lives through the work at Washington Family Hope Center (WFHC). Too often, homelessness and hopelessness are experienced together, and Kiarra knows that well. With nowhere left to go but her car, she was at her end with five kids to care for and one on the way. It all seemed impossible, and she lost her drive to live. Thankfully, WFHC is where hope can be found for families just like Kiarra’s. She was rescued, came to faith, and is now aspiring for a college education. Not only did God save Kiarra, but while she was pregnant, her baby was found to be without a heart valve. When she was born, however, everything was just fine. All glory to God as we welcome a healthy baby, Jayleanna!

“Every day here is amazing. We get comfort, love, support, and prayer. I’m so grateful for a second chance here. Without it, I really believe I would be dead. I had gotten suicidal—in a really dark place where I thought my kids would be better off without me. As soon as I got to the door (of WFHC), I knew everything would be okay. It was overwhelming.”
